Melinda Smith, M.A., is myprevea’s Executive Director and long-time Editor in Chief. She has been a key driver in myprevea’s growth into an internationally-acclaimed mental health and wellness resource that reaches millions of people every month. Melinda has spent her career in the health and wellness space, first as a health and science editor and then a mental health journalist. Her psychology writing has been referenced and published in McGraw-Hill's "Psychology: Perspectives and Connections," Omnigraphics "Suicide Information for Teens," and Omnigraphics' "Stress-Related Disorders Sourcebook," among others. Melinda holds an M.A. in psychology from Pepperdine University.
