Prevea Virtual Care Overview
It starts with a simple online questionnaire. Once you’ve answered all the questions, a licensed, board-certified Prevea Health provider (doctor, nurse practitioner, or physician assistant) will review your symptoms, diagnose you, and develop your treatment plan. You can expect a response within one hour during our business hours.
We do our best to treat you online, but not every condition can be treated via Prevea Virtual Care. If your health concern cannot be addressed through Prevea Virtual Care, you may be directed to a clinic for care or the emergency department, depending on the severity of the symptom.
You can complete an online visit at any time. Our providers will respond:
- Monday through Friday 8 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Saturday through Sunday 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Important information about COVID-19: If you are concerned about COVID-19 or are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 and would like to be tested, but do not require care from a medical provider, complete a virtual care visit and request a COVID-19 test.
How to start a Virtual Care Visit
Start your virtual care visit by clicking here and logging in to your MyPrevea account. If you do not have a MyPrevea account, setting one up is easy.
Simply click on the Sign up now button on the log-on page and follow the instructions. If you do not have a MyChart activation code, click the Sign up online button and complete the activation process.

- Log in to MyPrevea
- Click on the Menu icon in the upper left corner.
- Click on Prevea Virtual Care under the Find Care dropdown on the left.
- Click on a symptom or condition to start your visit.
